Does Nordrenalean HSL Work?

Nordrenalean HSL is a serious name in a serious bottle that promises serious stuff.

First of all let’s look at the bottle.  It’s black, red and gold.  All our favorite ‘go-to’ colors.  You can immediately visualize this product for sale in a gym.  And it is actually marketed towards body builders and fitness freaks who want to not only burn fat but change the shape of their bodies.

Secondly let’s break down the name.  I’m not sure where they’re going with the ‘Nordrenalean’ part of it, but it does remind me of lean, adrenalin-filled Norse people.  The HSL however stands for ‘Hormone Sensitive Lipase’ levels and Nordrenalean HSL allegedly works on yours. Why?  Because HSL levels determine when your body stops using incoming food for energy, and burns stored fat instead.  Can a diet product really drastically affect lipase levels, and more importantly, should we be messing with them?  The body stores fat for a reason.

Also, Nordrenalean HSL kicks your thyroid gland into gear so your metabolism gets a boost.  An underactive thyroid will make you sluggish and tired and practically eliminate healthy metabolism.  But I am a firm believer that thyroid issues should first be determined by a general practitioner, and treatment discussed professionally.

Still, many diet products make serious claims but can’t follow through anyway; and the ingredients in Nordrenalean HSL will decide that.

Last of all, let’s review the claims.  Nordrenalean HSL promises to:

  • Improve Hormone Sensitive Lipase levels so you’ll burn stored fat.
  • Improve thyroid gland effectiveness.
  • Burn fat and not lean muscle.
  • Reshape your body.
  • Improve energy levels.
  • Improve athletic performance.

Sounds fabulous.  Let’s look at the ingredients and see if there’s any backing to the lip-smacking!

  • Synephrine–a safer alternative to the infamous ephedra.  Purportedly raises metabolism and fat burning potential without negatively affecting the heart.
  • Guggulsterone–clinical trials have proven this ingredient as one that boosts energy and metabolism.  It also lowers LDL cholesterol.
  • Green Tea–an excellent and clinically proven ingredient, full of antioxidants and high in caffeine which stimulates metabolism.
  • Hoodia–an alleged appetite suppressant hailing from the African Hoodia Gordonii cactus, this ingredient is more piffle than proven.
  • Capsicum Annuum–commonly known as cayenne pepper, this ingredient may boost metabolism and thermogenesis.
  • Evodiamine–similar to caffeine.
  • Cissus Quadrangularis Extract–antioxidant and anti-inflammatory.
  • White Willow Bark–anti-inflammatory and pain reliever.
  • Sulbutiamine–derivative of vitamin B1 that may improve thyroid function and libido. Also used to enhance mood.
  • Yohimbe–may improve fat burning and libido.
  • Caffeine Anhydrous–dehydrated form of caffeine.

So in reviewing this formula we see a whole lot of caffeine and very little to stimulate the thyroid.  And what exactly is supposed to effect ‘lipase levels’?  There’s nothing in it that screams Nordrenalean HSL will ignore incoming food and go straight to your unwanted fat storage.  Also, where are the ingredient dosages?  It seems these ingredients are delivered in a proprietary blend of unknown quantity.  As such it cannot be judged how much of the good ingredients you’re getting (Synephrine, Guggulsterone and Green Tea) and just what percentage is ‘fluffy’ stuff!

I hate to say it; I don’t find anything ‘serious’ about these ingredients.  How about you?

Is Nordrenalean HSL Guaranteed?

Nordrenalean HSL is not guaranteed.  If you try it, you buy it!  I guess it’s not like the HSN (Home Shopping Network) where refunds are as friendly as the marketers peddling their cheap and cheery wares.

Is Nordrenalean HSL Worth Trying?

Hmmm…I would have to say, leave Nordrenalean HSL well alone.  Its high caffeine content has the potential to make you sick, and you won’t lose weight on caffeine alone.  The other ingredients are in unknown (and probably ineffective) dosages.  It may look good and sound good, but it probably isn’t.  What you need is a diet pill that contains clinically tested and proven weight loss ingredients and lots of them.  Ingredients that are delivered in individual and clinical dosages and that aren’t thrown into an unreliable blend.  And a diet pill that not only has weight loss in mind, but your health too.

Sorry Nordrenalean HSL-you’re just not serious enough for me.
