Does Diet 360 Work?

Diet 360′s clever name claims to ‘cover all angles of weight loss.’  Unfortunately after reviewing its ingredients I’d have to say it’s more of a 180 degree angle than a full 360!

Effective weight loss pills need a full spectrum of elements to ensure they get the job done.  Appetite suppressants are important.  Let’s face it; if eating were an Olympic sport, the human race would win the gold medal.  Fat burning ingredients are a must.  As are ingredients to balance out blood sugar levels so glucose is burned as energy and not stored as fat.  Caffeine or other stimulants are needed to create energy and raise metabolism.  Diuretics are good to decrease bloating and water weight.  And fiber keeps everything moving along nicely.

Unfortunately Diet 360 covers only a couple of these elements.   And their excuse?  They throw the responsibility back on us!  We put on the weight and therefore need to look inward for psychological reasons why we might have piled on the pounds, and outward at our physical habits.  Are we stressed?  Has emotional eating become a problem? Do we work out?  Are we genetically prone to obesity?

Now I agree this is important.  We should take a long, hard look at ourselves and determine to procure better habits.  But haven’t we tried everything and that’s why we’re turning to a diet pill for help?  And if such is the case, why would we purchase one that only promises to do half the job?

Diet 360 mainly focuses on relieving stress levels and cortisol which is responsible for holding onto weight, particularly around the middle.  They also focus on balancing blood sugar levels.  Both are important…but ‘where’s the beef’?  Let’s do a quick rundown of the ingredients in Diet 360:

Diet 360 Holistic Weight Loss Blend 412 mg:

Coconut Oil-purportedly raises metabolism.  Seeing as many island women are robust, I wouldn’t take much stock in that claim! And no clinical evidence.

Blueberry Leaf Extract-helps maintain low glucose levels so sugar is burned for energy rather than stored as fat. No clinical proof.

SlimPure Decaffeinated Green Coffee Extract-purported to stimulate metabolism.  The only problem with this ingredient is the ‘DE’ part of ‘decaffeinated.’  Caffeine is a key element in effective diet pills because it does stimulate metabolism.  I’m not sure decaffeinated green coffee extract will do much at all and there’s certainly no clinical evidence supporting it.  It may be side effect-free (no jitters, irritability, insomnia and headaches etc) but is it effect-free? Probably so.

Ashwagandha Root and Leaf Extract-thought to lower stress levels.  No clinical proof.

Brown Seaweed Concentrate-the most potent ingredient in Diet 360, Brown Seaweed (aka Fucoxanthin) has actually undergone clinical trial.  High in antioxidants, it’s been positively studied for its effects in burning abdominal fat and raising metabolism.  In a 412 mg blend however you’re most assuredly not getting anywhere near the dose used in trial.

Bayberry Bark Extract-same as Blueberry Leaf Extract-no clinical proof.

Hold the phone; more bad new for Diet 360! These mostly inadequate ingredients are administered in a teensy-weensy 412 mg proprietary blend.  When you consider most ingredients need to be given in at least 200 mg dosages, Diet 360 is falling serious short on weight loss power!  Add to that the fact that only one of these ingredients has any clinical weight loss evidence, and you’ve got a real stinker here.  I’d say Diet 360 is more of a unenthusiastic ‘twirl.’

Is Diet 360 Worth Trying?

Does a paper hat provide good coverage against a rain storm?  Is a condom machine useful in the Vatican?  Is a teapot made of chocolate?  Come on people.  If you’re desperate enough to seek help in the form of a diet pill, then you’ve covered all other avenues without success.  There are some diet pills out there that will actually work, but they won’t cover only a few components of weight loss.  They’ll go for the jugular.  The key is in finding a diet pill with science behind it, not marketing.  Diet 360 really is more of a tired pirouette and as half-baked as a pot smoker with an empty bong.  Stay away.
