Does Cellean Work?

Cellean is a diet pill vying to become one of the recommended weight loss products. They advertise that it will be able to flush pounds fast, reduce appetite, and flatten your stomach. Since so many of us are self-conscious about our bellies Cellean seems to be an appealing option right from the start.

The official website for Cellean lists the ingredients and indicates that it is an “exclusive formula backed by science.”

This may be one reason that Cellean refuses to list the amounts of each ingredient. But based on the reviews from consumers I am more inclined to say that Cellean leaves the ingredient amounts out because they do not use enough to make a significant difference in weight loss.

The ingredients in Cellean are african mango, acai, vitamin D, maqui fruit, green tea, and sensoril trim. Cellean explains what these ingredients are supposed to do and says that you can see clinical trials going into further detail about how they work.

In general, with these ingredients you can expect antioxidants that will remove free radicals, some appetite suppression, and mild metabolism boosting effects.

With any of the ingredients in Cellean you have to use the right amounts to see results. Most people who use it say that they experience fast results but the weight only stays off temporarily.  This indicates that a diuretic effect can be anticipated but not much more.

Is Cellean Guaranteed?

A money back guarantee is not offered with the purchase of Cellean. Rather, they offer a “free trial.”  Buying a diet pill with a free trial offer is usually recommended against. The small print generally tells you the trial is nothing close to free.

Cellean gets your credit card information to bill you for shipping and handling. In reality this is so they can charge you the full purchase price if you do not follow their directions.

Cellean must be returned 16 days (not business days) from the order date. If this is not done you get charged the price of the product which ends up being around $90. They also enroll you in an auto-ship program.  Every month you get sent a new supply of Cellean and another $70 is charged to your credit card. If you decide to try Cellean you may want to use a one-time use pre-paid credit card so they cannot keep charging you because it can be tough to cancel one of these trials.

Cellean Pros

  • Provides antioxidants
  • May suppress appetite
  • Can raise metabolism

Cellean Cons

  • “Free trial”
  • No guarantee
  • Amounts of ingredients are not displayed
  • Enrolled in auto-ship program

Is Cellean Worth Trying?

After having been taken in a scam like this I am very wary to recommend Cellean to anyone. If you use a one time use pre-paid credit card you probably have less of a chance that you will be scammed.  But any company that has to use such dishonest business practices to basically trick you into buying their product should be avoided. There are other weight loss products that are less expensive, more effective, and not out there just to get your hard earned money.
