Does Advocare Slim Work? The Advocare Slim diet drink is a slightly new take on the fat burning supplement idea. Instead of a small pill, The Advocare Slim system is a bottle of pre-mixed supplement to which you add water and shake. Each package of Advocare Slim contains 12 small individual serving-size bottles that make what they call a “tropical swirl” flavor drink. There are some benefits to drinking a supplement as opposed to taking a pill which may take longer to dissolve in the system, but those are negligible.
The ingredient list is extensive but does contain a number of good ingredients. The list of active ingredients includes:
Many of these ingredients are well known fat burners with an acceptable amount of research done on them to justify their presence in a diet supplement. Stimulants like Caffeine and the natural caffeine of Green Coffee can boost energy and metabolism although they have some natural side effects. The actual formula for Advocare Slim’s bottle of tropical swirl is not disclosed so it’s hard to say how effective it would be in comparison to another product. The company does have its own Bowl game and is endorsed by Drew Breese, if that means anything to anyone.
Advocare is sold through a series individual direct sales associates and the return policies may vary depending on where you get the product.
To start, it’s important to realize the business structure of Advocare. This company refers to itself as a Direct Sales company which is more commonly known as a Multi-Level marketing company or a network marketing system. Advocare might argue that point on a technicality or two but essentially that’s what they are. This does not mean they do not produce a good product, but it does necessitate a pretty big margin if you are going to pay everyone involved up the line.
When you consider the price of over $40 per box I would expect a pretty extraordinary product. Assuming they actually use the correct doses of the active ingredients, which they don’t disclose, there really isn’t anything terribly unique about the product to justify spending $40+ for less than a week’s supply of a supplement. This is a decent product but you can probably get more for your money elsewhere.
